About the Competition
Who You Are
A self-proclaimed master of the smoker and BBQ “expert.” We encourage everyone to join, regardless of expertise level.
The Prize
The judges will select the top 10 winners in each category and a grand prize champion to win earnings from a Smokedown $20,000 prize purse.
The Smokedown
The BBQ smokedown will be professionally judged on the following categories: Spare Ribs, Chicken, and Brisket. This is an IBCA sanctioned BBQ competition.
The Rules
View the Team Handbook for rules and regulations. Online registration closes April 10st. Onsite registration will be available on April 14th.
Entry
There is a $275 entry fee for every team. This includes 5 General Admission wrist bands, the opportunity to win prize money, and one heck of a good time.
