IT’S ABOUT THE STUDENTS

The Smokedown is designed exclusively to fulfill the Syndicate’s mission of making the dreams of young livestock exhibitors come true through educational scholarships.

We accomplish this by awarding $10,000 scholarships to Texas 4-H and Texas FFA students pursing careers in agriculture or life sciences at a Texas state sponsored university.
